How do credits work?
Credits are used for AI-powered features. Image analysis costs 1 credit, and repainting costs 2 credits. New users receive 5 free credits. You can purchase additional credit packs or subscribe to the Pro plan for monthly repaints and unlimited analyses.
How do credits work on the Mobile App?
Your credit balance is shared across all platforms — web, iOS, and Android. Credits you purchase or earn on one platform are available on all others when you sign in with the same account. However, the payment systems are separate: on the web, purchases go through Stripe, while on iOS and Android, purchases are processed through the App Store and Google Play respectively. This means refunds must be requested through the platform where the purchase was made.
What is the Pro Subscription?
The Pro Subscription gives you 100 repaints per month and unlimited image analyses for $39.99/month. It's ideal for power users, contractors, and designers who use Housepaint AI regularly. Any unused repaints do not roll over to the next month. You can also purchase credit packs on top of your subscription if you need more repaints.
How do I cancel my subscription?
If you subscribed on the web, you can manage or cancel your subscription from your Account page. If you subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, you'll need to cancel through your device's subscription settings. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
Is my payment information secure?
We never see, store, or have access to your full card number or payment details. We use Stripe on web, native Google and Apple payment options to process all payments. Stripe, Google, and Apple are PCI Level 1 certified payment processors, the highest level of security certification in the payments industry.
How accurate are the color visualizations?
Our AI provides high-quality color approximations using manufacturer color data. However, actual results may vary based on lighting, surface texture, and monitor calibration. We recommend testing physical paint samples before making final decisions.
Can I share my visualizations?
Yes! You can create shareable galleries of your projects and send them to contractors, designers, or anyone else who needs to see your color ideas.
What image formats are supported?
We support common image formats including JPEG, PNG, and WebP. For best results, use high-resolution photos taken in good lighting conditions.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Account settings page. This will permanently remove all your data, including saved images and projects.
